Rebecca Durcan is an associate at Steinecke Maciura LeBlanc.

Rebecca attended Queen’s University to study history and obtained her law degree from the University of Windsor. In 2006, Rebecca successfully completed her Masters in Health Law.

Prior to joining Steinecke Maciura LeBlanc, Rebecca was an associate in a Health Industry Practice at a large national law firm.   Since Rebecca was called to the bar in 2002 she has worked extensively in the health law field.  Rebecca has represented health care institutions and professionals in civil suits and before a variety of administrative bodies such as the Consent and Capacity Board, the Health Services Appeal and Review Board, the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board, the Ontario Housing and Rental Tribunal and at numerous coroner inquests.

Due to Rebecca’s extensive experience with liability claims, she is able to assist our clients in developing proactive practices and policies.   Rebecca is keenly aware that our clients need cogent, timely and practical advice and is committed to assisting them with their varied and diverse issues.
